Polycarbonate (PC) is a high molecular polymer containing carbonate groups in the molecular chain. It can be divided into aliphatic, aromatic, aliphatic-aromatic and other types according to the structure of the ester group. Polycarbonate is a tough thermoplastic resin with excellent optical and mechanical properties, such as high transparency, impact resistance, heat resistance and cold resistance. ‌

The synthesis of polycarbonate is mainly through the melt transesterification method, using bisphenol A and diphenyl carbonate for transesterification and polycondensation reaction. Polycarbonate has a high heat deformation temperature and bending modulus, and is suitable for the production of large rigid products and applications requiring high strength and high transparency, such as optical disc substrates, automobile lights, electrical parts, etc.

APPLICATION:
Electronics, Electrical Appliances, Display Shell, Home Appliances, Meter Housing, Lighting, etc.
